Reinvigorated for modern players who demand the pinnacle of performance and tone from their guitar, the Gretsch G6122TFM Players Edition Country Gentleman® Hollow Body with String-Thru Bigsby® and Flame Maple is packed with the sound and style that made the original a classic. With updated, performance-oriented features this instrument is destined to become an indispensible part of your guitar collection.
Premium features include a laminated flame maple body, dual High Sensitive Filter’Tron™ humbucking pickups that provide pristine high end, glassy midrange, robust low end and balanced harmonics for tone that blends seamlessly with other instruments, and innovative Gretsch “ML” bracing that is specifically voiced for the thinner, 2.25” body and produces distinct tone by synchronizing the top and back vibrations for harmonious tone without clashing overtones. The control complement—separate bridge and neck volume controls, three-way pickup switching, no-load master tone and master volume—allows for near-infinite tonal variations. The all-new Gretsch Squeezebox paper-in-oil caps add smooth vintage tone while the treble bleed circuit lets your guitar retain all of its tasty clarity when rolling the volume control down.
A 12”-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and striking pearloid Neo-Classic™ thumbnail inlays tops a maple neck with a comfortably familiar standard “U”-shaped profile for fluidly easy playing. Highly expressive, the Bigsby B6GP vibrato tailpiece and pinned “rocking” bar bridge combine with the GraphTech® TUSQ™ XL nut for stable tuning. In a uniquely Gretsch touch, the Bigsby tailpiece is now string-through, making it quicker (and easier) to change strings as well as providing increased vibration transfer for enhanced sustain.
A treat for the eyes and ears, this guitar is a highly-tuned music machine—from the stately Amber Stain finish to the shining gold Gotoh® die-cast locking tuning machines, gold G-arrow control knobs, F-holes, gloss urethane finish and gold vintage thick plexi pickguard with Gretsch logo. Vintage-style construction
The design of the Talman 1702AHM is a direct throwback to the popular twang machines of yesteryear. The maple neck is bolted to a solid ash body, giving you a tonal balance that is a favorite with Sweetwater guitarists. The comfortable C-shaped neck boasts a modern 12" fretboard radius for wide bending. And the 6-saddle IFX-Pro bridge delivers precise intonation. This bridge design and the two Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro single-coil pickups are responsible for the Talman Prestige's growling, twangy sound.
Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro pickups
The Alnico II Pro single-coil pickups in the Talman 1702AHM are wound to deliver the low output, clarity, and snap that characterized the sound of country music in the '50s and '60s. Alnico II rod magnets soften the treble attack that leads to excessive high-end bite. And the bridge Alnico II Pro is reverse wound to provide hum cancellation when you use both pickups in the middle pickup selector position.
Prestige look and playability
Japanese-made Ibanez Prestige instruments are constructed with three principles in mind: precision, performance, and playability. Ibanez's high-tech manufacturing process uses old-world Japanese craftsmanship to deliver on these goals. The Talman 1702AHM joins this lineage, giving you flawless fretwork, rounded fret edges, and a comfortably shaped neck. The Prestige line of electric guitars and basses offer you Ibanez's top-of-the-line features, craftsmanship, and tonality.

The McCarty 594 is a versatile, vintage-inspired instrument that is effortlessly playable. Featuring a bound 22-fret Pattern Vintage neck and slightly thicker back for more enhanced tone and sustain, the McCarty 594 plays in tune, is intonated the entire length of the neck, and feels like a guitar you’ve been playing forever. Whether you are looking for rich, authentic humbucking tones or nuanced, sweet single-coil sounds, the McCarty 594 can seamlessly master both sonic territories thanks to its 58/15 LT pickups, which have now been through the TCI (tuned capacitance and inductance) process, and dual volume and push/pull tone controls. A zinc two-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners anchor this guitar and stay true to the promise of the McCarty family.
“One of my sayings is that everything that touches the string is God – well, that’s really the bridge, the nut, and the tuners. The updates to the McCarty family make a huge difference in their tone. The guitar sustains longer and the tone has more character,”said Paul Reed Smith.
In the late 1980’s, Paul Reed Smith called on Ted McCarty to consult with him on guitar design and production techniques. He not only served as a mentor but became a great friend of Paul and everyone he met at PRS. In 1994, PRS released the first McCarty, an instrument that incorporated the full spectrum of techniques and knowledge Paul had gained from Ted as well as his own experiences as a guitar builder.
